What Are Veneers?

The Veneer Process

Consultation: The first step involves scheduling a consultation with our experienced dentists at Northside Dental Co. During this appointment, we will discuss your goals for your veneers, including the issues you want to address, the desired color and size, and the number of veneers you want.

Preparation: If you decide to move forward, we will take a mold of your teeth, which is sent to a lab technician who crafts your custom veneers. This process typically takes 1 to 2 weeks.

Placement: Once your veneers are ready, we will numb your mouth, shave down a small amount of your tooth enamel to create the necessary surface for placement, and then carefully adhere the veneers to your teeth. The entire process, from consultation to a new smile, usually takes around three weeks.
